I got the most amazing gift, a stack of workbasket magazines from 1969 and 1970. They are filled with iron on transfer patterns, which is how the elephant came to be. I have been working on my sweet suzy homemaker skills.

I spent this morning hanging out around multnomah village (or, if you are from around here "The Village".) I did some knitting at NorthWest wools, then I went to village coffee. I snagged a book from bookcrossing.com and I left Coyote Blue. I talked to a very interesting man about life, the outdoors and vitamin D. pretty much a good day all around.
This yarn is Jaeger matchmaker merino 4 ply. I dyed it with food coloring drops and now it is no longer light grey. I had way too much fun and now my fingernails are green. oops
